I love Google Apps; I really do. But sometimes I find that they're not customizable enough for what I need. Thus, I'm wondering if those of you out there in Lounge-land have experience with any similar software packages I can download and install on my web server, and tinker with to my needs. I need something that supports contacts and calendars, shared contacts and shared calendars, and document editing. Any ideas?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but wikis are pretty useful for collaboration and documentation. I use ScrewTurn Wiki for all my personal stuff (I have one hosted on my website and the desktop edition installed on my various computers). My work has MediaWiki installed (that wiki software has more plugins and uses different technology).
