I've been given the task of assessing third party grid controls for use within our product, can anyone point me in a direction of a few different ones? I've got the CP grid on my list ;), and I'll be looking at Dundas and Component Source Where else can I get grids from, and can anyone let me know of good / bad experiences with third party grid controls of their own?

Save yourself the time. He will buy the most expensive one or the one which has the most senseless buzzwords like "native XML support" (*), "support the latest industry standards", "scalable"... (*) Nothing against Dundas, their products are excellent! Q261186 - Computer Randomly Plays Classical Music

No, its much more pointless then that. I'll spend two days preparing this document, presented to management who will either: 1. Shake and mutter something about "not enough time right now" 2. Forget they had asked me to do this and mutter something about "do we need this" 3. Read the first line and say "very good, get on with it" 4. Take two months to read and document and then do #3. (most likely)

the only thing i found a bit tricky with the cp grid (and i should have rewritten it a bit i guess doh but i didnt have time at the time) was setting properties on a whole column at once the dundas one is a good product (shameless plug) but the cp one has a price u cant beat
