Yesrerday my organization has replaced our desktops with Laptops....The Desktops are good but we have to change as per the time.... My friend asked me Do you own a laptop computer or a desktop computer or a TablaetPC I have Desktops @ my home... What u own ?????..... :)

I have three desktops in the house, including my main one ( a Mac Pro, 8 core, 20 GB RAM, about 2 TB of HDD space ). Four notebooks now, one a Mac, the others ranging from an old XP machine to the new one running Weven.

I restored it, and immediately found an issue with Weven and our app. Seems the security is worse than Vista. I worked around it, and now I just need some spare time to play with it a little, get dev tools on it, etc.

Why ? it costs more for the same "power" and is useless as desktop machines unless you have a monitor (and mouse and maybe a real keyboard). I would quit if my company replaced our desktop with laptops. For the work we do it's useless (high level 3d word) and that would mean that they expect us to work at home and that i will never do. @ Home, I have a desktop for games and a laptop for other simple things that stays there for most of the time.
