Just how much time did they waste designing crap like this into the OS. The bit I helped on was at least kernel side so didnt have a load of stupid back doors.

I believe this is a repost.

Methinks you're getting uni-voted just for being you - bunch of wankers: just cos they don't like what you have to say. Whatever happened to free speech? Never mind, we know what happened to free speech: univoters trampled all over it. Still; never give up, never give in... :)

Huh? How is a one vote stopping free speech? Get serious! Isn't a voter expressing an opinion a form of free speech? Disclaimer: I don't vote.

I voted him 1 because he couples his arrogance with ignorance about how the shell works.

Personally, I love the idea that Raymond spends his nights posting bad regexs to mailing lists under the pseudonym of Jane Smith. He'd be like a super hero, only more nerdy and less useful. [Trevel]

I'm taking a wild guess here; but I suspect the magic GUID is the one used to control what you search when you the the control panel open.

Of course if I argue I think I am right, I wouldnt argue otherwise. If you can provide a stronger argument I will gladly listen. I have no political axe to grind, I dont vote, I follow no party. I will not knowingly follow a falsehood. I swear to you that. All I care for is the truth, and honesty in public bodies, and I care for that strongly. If you see that 'entusiasm' to criticise what I see as a failure meet those standards as something else then I am sorry, but it is not intentional. Just argue back with the same conviction and clarity. If you are right I will listen.

IDSPISPOPD :P (ID Smashing Pumpkins Into Small Piles Of Putrid Debris if I remember correctly) Good for teleporting to new levels, as far as I can remember... Edit : Turned on no clipping apparently. IDCLEV was the teleport

                                          I have no blog...
