Are CP ads targeted or randomly generated? because the two adds I always get dashboard and the 60 free controls but after I posted about GIS on Q/A I got an ESRI ad?
Even though I never posted anything about GIS, I see the ESRI ad quite often, so I don't think, they are targeted.

You jest but if CP advertised things I was actually interested in buying there would be a lot more click through. I have not interest in purchasing products that eliminate my job or going to conference that tell me how to eliminate my job or how easily my job can be eliminated with a simple tool. Show me an ad for 15% of a high-tech toy I was already going to buy or give me 2:1 burritos at the bell for being a member, you will have some clickage going on! I get hundreds of clicks to my site from CP but not a single one of them has ever been from a business decision maker (as far as I can tell). Thus the ads here really do not make sense. The site is for developers and the ads are for CTO's.
