Screenshot oddity

Look at the screen shot, what kind of computer do you think it is?

I'm trying to work out what MS are trying to tell us with the screenshot on this page: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/technicalresources/virtual-labs.mspx[^]

1. FF is the browser being used. 2. The cheesy 'apple OS skin' is worn by the browser as a bonus. 3. Google is the search engine on the browser. 4. I cannot be sure if it's Windows or Mac either. Ouch. :)

Is it my imagination, or is the system check also reporting a failure: "This site requires IE 6.0 or above"?
If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends? Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

Yup, that was one of the things I was getting at. The WTFs are:
- Using a Mac
- Using Firefox
- Clearly showing text saying "Go away, this site doesn't work"
- Posting this on the site, and not seeing anything wrong with it
I presume they outsourced the page to a Mac shop, and specified that "a screenshot of this particular URL must be included, with lots of web2.0y shadows and reflections", but nobody bothered actually checking that the screenshot wasn't stupid!

So it's official - Micro$oft marketing people know nothing about their products. In a way, that's reassuring - a marketeer who knew what his product actual did would be a frightening prospect! A bit like an estate agent with a double helix, or a taxman with a soul...

| FoldWithUs! | sighist | µLaunch - program launcher for server core and hyper-v server. However useless and foolish this idea is.... it still doesn't look the same. For starters, notice the location of the control box buttons (minimize, maximize, close)...

Someone at MS must be reading the CP lounge. They changed the screenshot.

Good. I already thought I was blind, because I couldn't see the things that were mentioned :-D
