I know i am not supposed to ask programing questions in the lounge- but i was n a bit of hurry and i thought there might be A Faster response from the lounge. The Query is : How do i restrict access to a particular folder for a LAN network in IIS7. ie:I wanted to restrict public access to the folder. I was reading there is no restricting access through a simple user name- password. Is there a possibility of putting in a range of IP address ? Thanks

Have you tried unplugging the network cable or disabling the wireless? That should restrict access fairly well.
