So far, todays highlight was the phone call I received a few minutes ago. Earlier today I received a call from the local phone company to which I provide tech-support for software I've provided. The call came in from one of the dispatchers who complained that everytime they tried to launch the program they got an error "Hardware Key not found". I told this person (a guy no less) that all he needed to do is stick his dongle into the parallel port. Problem solved, or so I thought as this person quietly thanked me and hung up. An hour or so later (which was just a few minutes ago), I got a call from a phone company representitive who's a bit higher on the food chain over there asking me what's the idea of harassing his people. Thankfully there was a little laughter after I offered an explaination. --------------------------------------------- Be good! I wonder if he tried, and then got escorted of the premises. You have to admit though, who called them dongles. Speaknig of which is your software quite expensive per user?

I wouldn't say so - expensive that is. I just found that requiring a dongle makes it a bit harder for anyone to use unlicensed copies. --------------------------------------------- Be good! But if you can't be good, at least be good at it and try not to get any on ya! -mjf

              I have a friend/colleague that placed

before all of his error messages  Maybe you should do the same? :-D Dave "Dak Lozar" Loeser When access is allowed to a member, it said to be accessible. Otherwise, it is inaccessible.

No implications whatsoever. The gender reference was made mostly as a reference to myself as I know all the dispatcher at the company refered to and by saying its a guy...well... that says who it is without saying who it is (by name)... if you follow that logic. --------------------------------------------- Be good!
