I am going to be in Luxemberg for some months on a contract and I am looking for accomodation. As you know I am good natured, easy to get on with... :) OK, I cook pretty good and like a drink or two so any like minded people with a room to let, please respond.

All right, you guys, I got eight crates of Ipecac from Mort. All on my tab. Now, whoever goes the longest without puking gets the last piece of pie in the fridge.

The amount you're looking to charge clients, you are closer to a mortgage boy.

Whereabouts are you going to be working? I used to live in Lux, and it's a great little country.

Once you're mortgage free, it's amazing how quickly you can save. In ten years, Mrs Wife and I saved enough for our second home and two years down the line we've nearly got enough to have the roof raised and a third floor added.

Best advice I was given, overpay as much as you can possibly manage. A pound at the start will be £20 at the end. Also, never sell unless you have to. We rent out Mrs Wife's little flat from before we where married so it pays it's own upkeep and is a nice income, and we have the flat in Budapest and the house in the countryside; the London place is provided through work. No mortgage or debt of any kind - v. cool.

Don't worry I spent time one one of those mortgage calculates and was horrified amount interest you pay over 25 years. Luckily for me I say the light many, many years ago and now I'm looking forward to a mortgage free live - courtesey of the "One Account".

I visited Luxembourg in June, 1988 -- the place was awesome. I even swam in their Olympic training facility -- the pool was absolutely fantastic! I wish that I could whore myself out, and work as "software prostitute" and travel around the world. Maybe someday I will! Best of luck. Kind regards,

Your second point is true, but I hope you have a good insurance for your rent time, without paying taxes you can end in a not so nice situation when you retire.

Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpfull answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

A few kms to the south west of Luxemberg city. Any recomendations?

Well, I used to live off Route d'Arlon - there are usually plenty of places to live there; the client provided a flat for us in this case. Interesting??? fact for you; An American Werewolf in Paris was partly filmed in Luxembourg because the marketplace there looks more like Paris than Paris does. Also, the Chi Chis in the marketplace is really good for a summer night out; lots of tequila while sitting out in the evening sun.
