Just curious, what kind of shoes do you wear? (Since you guys are posting funny topics today like, who invented beer, What's your worst favorite movie, etc...why not ask about shoes?) ;P
I am, at this moment, wearing Jimmy Choo platform slingback peep toe pumps in camel. With an ivory wool pencil skirt and a cherry red three quarter sleeve ribbed cashmere turtleneck. I love dressing for work!!!

Is it just me, or has a post about shoes drawn more female replies than other posts? Just asking.
I still can't believe anybody asked this question. Yay! Shoes!

Ugly Nike shoes I only bought not to wear down my nice ones. These I use to work, nobody looks under my desk to see if my shoes are pretty. And I don't really care if they look, I only care when I'm looking for a girl.

Skechers Gators (sadly no longer made), like walking on pillows and are slip-ons. I regret being a snob about the choice of garish colors they had. I bought blue ones and then went online to order black ones. After finding how greate they were, I found they had also disappeared from the shelves and online. (sigh)

Doc Martin boots with 11 eyelets, steel toes and extra thick soles so they'll hopefully last more than a year of biking 42 miles each way every day. Altho it is looking likely they will last cause the bike's in the shop again and i don't have the cash to fix it and i'm not sure it's worth it if i did.

I suggest you go inside, close the door, and drop the boots then. :)

I only read code that is properly formatted, adding PRE tags is the easiest way to obtain that.

Combat Boots: the only footwear with over-the ankle protection from road-rash in summer, puddles in spring and fall, and snowbanks in winter, they provide terrific support, and take a nice shine! Only one colleague has ever noticed - another military vet - that my footwear wasn't like everyone else. These are strictly for in-office wear. When meeting clients, I wear plain-toe oxfords - again, with a nice shine.

I wear what ever shoes happen to be on the top of the pile in my closet that morning. The range runs from steel-toed boots to running shoes, through nice Oxfords to bullhide Wellington cowboy boots. It doesn't matter if both come from the same pair - I rarely have time to look down, and couldn't care less what others see. I'm busy doing stuff...

I started wearing Klogs when I was employed as a phlebotomist, and I liked them so much, they're all I wear now (unless I have good reason to wear a pair that has something behind the heel. They're comfortable, they slip on and off easily enough for laziness, but not so easy that they fall of while I'm walking, and they are durable. Seriously, durable. I had my first pair for, like, five years before I had to replace them. Not because they fell apart - they simply don't do that! - but because I had worn a hole clear through the sole because I wear them all the time!

I have to agree with the shoeless bit! I am shoeless at home, but heels in public.
I too am shoeless at home, but I never wear heels in public. Okay, maybe once.

 Do you a FIFO closet or something? I would expect that whatever you threw in there the previous night would be on top, but if you have managed to turn your stack into some other kind of structure..... kudos!
It's more of an unmanaged heap, actually. :-O

I wear cole haans to work because I work for the Florida Legislature, so I have to dress up some. Don't have to wear a tie except when we are in Session. The pay makes it worth it.
