So the lazy ass Porsche design team mocked up something that doesn't just look like another 911 rehash? Except this time, they've nicked the front of a Ferrari and the back of a Tesla! Given, it is very pretty!

I've always had a very strong dislike for VW sports cars (I'm primarily a Jag man) but, hey, I gotta get me one of those! That is a sizzling hot motor (or is it the man-flu talking?). I wonder how many hundreds of thousands of pounds they'll be if they ever see the light of day?

Honestly. It's the honest ones you want to watch out for...A bug in Engadget's gallery that they seem to refuse to fix. The url gets fudged. Click on an image you'll see it appends either a # to the start or a # plus another photo id, remove the hash and the old photo id, and hit enter :)

Actaully we used to do that to XJ6s in the early 80's; used to smack in a Chevy 350 and chuck the Jag plant out: they leaked oil, a lot and the Chevy was easier to maintain and used less gas. You could buy custom mounting kits: quite a simple job when you'd done 10 plus in a year as they tended to require only minor adjustments to fit!
