Good luck! How does the Brazilian gov't work (or not work) in terms of having a leftist president? For example, if we in the US have a Republican president and a Senate with a Democratic majority, then it's pretty hard for the Republicans to get anything done. Is it like this in Brazil too? Are there any one-day celebrating or one-day left of work followed? this is my signature for forums quoted from shog*9: I can't help but feel, somewhere deep within that withered, bitter, scheming person, there is a small child, frightened, looking a way out.

Just read on that CNN site that your new president was ultra-left, in favour of nationalizing private (land) property some ten years ago. Appearently he moderated a bit since. It's hard to imagine that this kind of left wing populist can get elected anywhere nowdays. I do wish you good look with him, Dejan Petrovic

Our system have some similarities with US's one. But this year we had elections for the Congress too, so it will not be so difficult for him to accomplish some things. Other will be SO impossible :) lazy isn't my middle name.. its my first.. people just keep calling me Mel cause that's what they put on my drivers license. - Mel Feik
