As far as I can see, there are no attachments in either the examples you show. CP does not offer (*) the possibility to attach images and/or files to discussion threads, only in an article. (*) except for a very few individuals (I think).
Watched code never compiles.

They post it on multiple forums, and some forums probably support attachments, and the text is not re-customized for forums that don't support attachments I guess.

Nope, but you can always upload it to somewhere else (say, your website) and link to it from QA.
