Its the same with those twats that pronounce the 'h' in 'which' and so on. Its stupid 'ellocution' mentality.

Pronouncing "which" with an aspirated W (IPA: ʰwɪtʃ) is perfectly acceptable. Dictionary.com and others even show it as the more common pronunciation.

it is spelled Aitch. It is not pronounced Haitch it is pronounced Aitch. There is no H in H. Now, I know if you live in N. Ireland this can be an issue, but elsewhere in the world... My son's teacher now pronounces it with an H because she'd noticed many of the kids in the class did so. now my son comes home and asks what he is to do, as the teacher pronounces it wrong (the teacher doesn't correct anyone who pronounces it correctly, but the majority of the kids now think that the Haitch pronunciation is correct because the teacher pronounces it that way.

What with beign NI stock, I'm all for the haitch. That said. if the teacher won't correct the kids buy a shovel. Then you can use it to dig a big hole to show to the teacher. Then twat her[1] with the spade and bury the corpse. [1] pc teachers are 10/9 female.

So now the kids (presumably learnt from moronic parents) are running the class? what happened to teachers correcting the kids - i was under the impression that is part of a teacher's job. to quote Micheal Martin "for f's sake" Bryce

Problem was: She's American, been living and teaching in N. ireland for 2 or 3 years and now teaching in Australia - so she is trying to do the right thing for the kids in teaching them culturally correctly - but of course she's got the culture from those parents whose interest in hemp doesn't go beyond lighting up.
