Web site design company - recommendations please.

Hi I am looking to hire some web design company that will write my new company's web site - so i am looking for any recommendations of who can do the job for me. Mine a 3 people small software development company, . My budget is not too big, its in the range of £750 - £1000. I googled for it, and there are millions of them ;-) who can do it, but i don't have the kind of budget to "get it done by someone wrong first time, and then redo by another" cycle of events. I am expecting, somone here would have had a good experience of getting their web site done nicely by some thrid party, so looking for some recommendations of any you know that can do the job quickly (in about 4+ weeks) and nicely. I am from UK, near London, so any local ones in UK would be preferred, but not a compulasory requirement, since this job can be done/delviered online - so not a big deal anyway. Any personal recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Any special requirements? Our local Memorial Hall has been recommended these guys[^]. They've got two offices, one in West Wales (near where are) and one in London - basically they're identical companies but the London branch add a few zeroes to everything otherwise they're not taken seriously.
