I used to make up a new one for each post, but Nish wore me out trying to keep up with me. Now I use one of a few methods. I steal anything that strikes me as wonderfully clever from people none of the regulars here know (my current sig, for instance). I quote the most incredibly stupid thing I've seen someone who should know better post (watch out - you could be next). Or I make something up that seems appropriate to the post I'm responding to at the time. Depending upon my level of inebriation at the time that can result in a sig that is brilliant, insipid, rude, boring, insulting, or a complete non sequitor. By the way, Junkie wrote: "* Code till death *" fits two of my categories. Guess which two. ;P "Another day done; all targets met; all systems fully operational; all customers satisfied; all staff keen and well motivated; all pigs fed and ready to fly." - Jennie Agard, McGuckin Hardware Systems Manager

Insipid comes to mind, too. Come on, exercise your brain, make up something clever and unique! You wouldn't be here if you were incapable of that much - CP is going to become your home, so make the extra effort! It's worth it:-) "Another day done; all targets met; all systems fully operational; all customers satisfied; all staff keen and well motivated; all pigs fed and ready to fly." - Jennie Agard, McGuckin Hardware Systems Manager

I wait until someone says something entertaining (or rather, something that entertains *me*), or i hear something in a song that sounds good, and copy it into my sig. The tricky part is trying to make it look decent both in the forums and in the email replies...

Snippets of song lyrics can make good sigs. As in my Radiohead one here...
