They've grown up, and realized the childishness of this repeated charade?

The US is not childish. YOU TAKE IT BACK YOU POOPY HEAD!!!! ;)
If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

If they wanted to insult him so badly all they had to do was either throw a shoe at him or show him the bottom of their shoes. Then again...just kidding. ;P You would think that we'd(international community) be used to his inane prattle by now that is about as grounded in reality as the good captain's thoughts here are. Both are flaming bigots filled with racism and denial of history.

nu-uh! You da poopy head! The US is never wrong, cause it's led by white folks! Since they are god's chosen people we must be right! Man, I was barely able to type that. I feel dirty.

But I think we can all agree that no matter how good/bad things are in our parts of the world, that guy would be much improved by a full-frontal lobotomy.
Especially if applied with a .45 ACP.

Ok, so there was no clapping, I assume
Actually, there was a standing ovation at the end of the speech, long after the walkout, with much clapping. Interestingly, Australia decided not to walk with the US and others. Wonder what's behind that.

Weird. We're starting to act as if we're a country and not a fiefdom ? Not that I agree with not walking out especially, but my impression has been that we do whatever the US tells us to do.

Unlike the UK, Canada, France, Germany,....? ;P Or did you mean the charade of inviting Ahmandinejad to speak at a nuclear nonproliferation conference?

He was not invited, Iran is a signatory to the treaty, and he was there as Iran's representative. The 'walkers' have walked out on Ahmandinejad in April and September 2009. Why bother to attend his speech merely to walk out yet again? Theatrics, whose impact lessens with each repetition.
