I have just strolled into work. I booked the day off, to sleep off a late night, (only a few drinks, Henry!), and although I said I wouldn't be here I figured I would just go over the post and see whats happening that I should be aware of. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the Communist Taxation Addicts (Labour) won in Luton South, but only by a small margin. Given the way the whole election numbers horizon is panning out, I have a feeling we may be doing this whole she-bang again in about 6-8 weeks. Sorry about the CCC, but even I cannot post whilst ZZZZzzzzz-ing. Here is one to keep you all happy though. "Fiddle to bury iron again"(9) Good luck.

meh, Canada's in a minority government at the moment. our Prime minister has tried twice ( he was feeling cocky and " lucky")to get a minority however the people won't let him have it. Due to the age bracket we're currently left with a stale government. guess we'll see how it goes.

Yep USA. We will elect anyone who has name recognition. Heck Snoopy (from comic strip) use to get several thousand write-in votes. Dead men have been elected over a live person (ballots are printed way ahead). In Chicago they use to have more dead and non existent people vote than live. They have cleaned that up some.
