That's how long it takes to burn a CD on my new burner! I finally decided that enough was enough with my old (2+ years) HP 10x burner, after it failed to burn 5 out of 10 CDs. I couldn't even run it at 10x anymore, so I was using 8x (11+ minutes/CD). So, I went out and got me an LG 40x/12x/40x burner. Yeah, not exactly a Plextor or Sony, I know, but it was cheap (CDN$100), and it came with 50 48x CDs. :wtf: So far it's been amazing (buffer-underrun protection is NICE!), but I wish it had a larger buffer (only 2 megs) and it ran at UDMA 33. I was kind of hasty in buying it (it was a special offer), but after I switched it from PIO4 (gah!) to DMA, it's been "all good" [EDIT] Should have mentioned: this now means I have 3 CD drives (40x CD-RW, 16x DVD, 10x CD-RW)... Gotta love being able to just leave NHL2k3 in one drive, and WarcraftIII in the other, and still have an empty drive. [/EDIT] Me explaining it will be like trying to describe sex, it will just come out flat and wrong. [Paul Watson on the "The grass is greener..." commerical]

Lol - rather sell the scanner, and buy a digital camera. That's one thing I've used more than expected. Knowing I don't have to pay for dud prints makes me quite trigger happy with it :-D

That's one way to do it, yes. It's a great way to show your appreciation to EA Sports and NHL[PA]. A cheaper solution though is to rip the CD, and download Daemon Tools (www.daemon-tools.com) and mount the bin/cue-files as a virtual CD-rom. That way you can use all your three CD's while playing NHL2k3. But option number one is clearly the better solution since it shows your dedication to the sport. By the way, you're an Avalanche fan right? If you go to any Avs-game, say hi to Peter Forsberg, and tell him to keep on kicking ass and taking names. If you get the chance that is. ;) -- Master, I'm so glad to feel your presence. But you don't seem to share my impatience. I relied upon you to break the silence. I cannot understand your reluctance. Has anyone had any problems getting Nero to write CD-Text to audio CDs? I make a lot of mix CDs for when I'm driving in my car, and I can never get the CD-Text to work in Nero 5.5.
