Fly Delta (north america to europe) ?

Anyone fly Delta from NA to Europe ? Planning a late august flight to Paris. Some weird circumstances there are flights from Montreal to Paris this summer and the price is about the same as some other "cheap" airlines. Should I run away at full speed ? Thanks.

I fly Delta to the UK all the time. It ain't great but it ain't bad either. The prices vary quite a bit. I've seen 300 to 1600.

Once and never again - A problem with the ticket machine at the start of the trip meant that my Atlanta-UK boarding pass couldn't be printed, no problem they said pick it up in Atlanta. Arrived in Atlanta to absolute chaos, since I only had an hour I wanted to get my pass quickly and find my way to the gate so I asked an airport official where to go to pick it up. She very kindly showed me through a locked door and pointed at a long, long, long line of people, I realised my mistake (believing I had spoken to a sane person) but too late - I knocked on the door and politely asked to be let back through but she replied - "sorry sir, not without a boarding pass", Gaaahhhh!!! I've stood in some queues in my time at airports but this one was the best - it actually stretched outside and down the road! I got my flight, just, but only because I put on a calm, composed, 'I'm supposed to be doing this' face and walked to the front of the queue (ahead of what must have been several thousand people) and told the security guard who was keeping control of the crowds that I had been sent from another building and told to come straight to the desk - he bought it and let me in. After all that it would almost still have been worth missing the flight to plant one square on the stupid fat nose of the woman that sent me the wrong way but I resisted the temptation :)
