lol Nice diagram. So now that this small group has pretty clearly placed me in the nerd group, I would like to know where the nerd parties are? I notice geeks have all these crazy parties. Where are the nerd parties? Or do they have parties too but relabel them educational seminars? :-\

While developing, I don't need to get it right the first time. Only the final product needs to be correct.

So what you're saying is that as long as all the legs ultimately end up the same length, the table won't wobble?

I think I might be a geek. However, I get the feeling, after comparing myself to the droves of self-proclaimed geeks that I'm not. I read somewhere that one of the most label-inflicting habits of a geek is akin to liking techo-gadgets or having some strange cultish affinity for Lord of the Rings (and the like). I could care less about almost all newer gadgets though, iPhone or i(anything) for that matter. I also can't speak klingon, and have no desire. So while I consider myself a geek because I find great joy in developing databases, data-driven apps and turning complex datasets into understandable information, I don't think I fit the mold. If not a geek, then what? Anal? Odd? lol

So how much less could you care? Am I a geek for letting this bother me? In any case - 34.31734% - Total Geek.

I'm never bothered by the "hot new" electronic gadgets, either -- because I know there will always be better and cheaper options, a few months down the line (unless it was a stoopid idea, in which case it just dies). Give me a new woodworking machine or set of cutting tools, though...

If you were a real geek, you would be building your own gadgets :-D Now where did I leave my soldering iron... A.

The only rule... If you exclude someone else for liking or not liking something, you are not a geek.
