I applied preshave oil, worked up lather in the scuttle and when I want to slide in a blade into the razor... THE FOOKIN' PACK OF BLADES IS MISSING - IT'S GONE! Reason? It appears that someone (most probably the father) has 'organised' things in my wardrobe for me. It definitely looked messy earlier, but back then I could find what I wanted instantly. Now it looks good, but I CAN'T SEE SHIZ! This is the second time he's organised things for me in two years. Last time, I almost literally lost a thumb drive and had to search for an hour or so to find it out. I see he's trying to help me, but... I came in late, and have to leave early in the morning (meeting - I wish I could shave). The dinner was at my sister's home, and I forgot my phone there. The parents stayed back there for the night and now I'm doomed. :(( Organising things. Give me a break. :suss:

Every week my place gets cleaned. Every week the cleaning women rearranges my my toiletries and changes my toilet paper roll from the right way to the wrong way. I am thinking about just labeling my entire house with the proper place for all items ... but that might be weird. She'll just take the labels off, they're just clutter. This includes labels saying "DO NOT MOVE ME".

Easy solution : get your own apartment. Living with your parents for more than a week or two is a recipe for disaster :)

I thought someone might bring that up. :) But, unfortunately the skin on my face is about as sensitive as a baby's butt. If I don't apply some preshave or olive oil, shaving would lead to a bloody mess. Literally. And that's because...

...contrary to the skin, the hair is thick, coarse and tough. No other sissy stuff (including mach3, etc.,) can give me a half decent shave. Classic style shaving with a razor and good quality blades work.

ugh. I've only had one hotel maid ever take it upon herself to mess with all my stuff. It wasn't enough she just rearranged it either; she also helpfully tossed the grocery bag I had all the stuff in, the ziplock bag I had to keep the the damp razor from dropping on everything else, and the shopping bags sitting with the big pile of books I'd brought to get signed that weekend.

ROTFL! Only twice in two years! Just thank your god(s)/lucky stars you don't have me for a father.

It's time for a new signature.

I know that feeling.  About 4 years ago, I was sent on a trip (duration uncertain, but was told would it would be two to four days). I had packed enough stuff for three days, and I had to pull off three months.

So how long before you finally sucked it up and bought a new wardrobe locally?

Every week my place gets cleaned. Every week the cleaning women rearranges my my toiletries and changes my toilet paper roll from the right way to the wrong way. I am thinking about just labeling my entire house with the proper place for all items ... but that might be weird. ' Have you considered sneaking into your father's house and moving his stuff around?

Domestic servants are cheaper in the long and short run.

They kept promising every day that it would be over "tomorrow". It took me about a week to realise I weren't going anywhere and I purchased some clothes (the good thing is I submitted my bills for reimbursement and they had it done). And I did another round of purchasing in a month from there, and one more later a few days before I left.
