Probably you are still able to program because you left. No one in the IT industry is able to program, anymore.

That's pretty cool. A part of me would love to become a teacher. The part that doesn't mind living on baked beans, but still, I imagine it's a lot more satisfying than writing code is.

Yup, being able to see your students grow and graduate is perhaps the most satisfying thing to me.

Is this perhaps because MSFT makes sure we have to relearn our jobs every year. (Sorry I have been studying WPF and MVVM for the last 3 months and all I have is a headache - just needed to rant :-D )

Nothing against teachers, but can anything be more satisfying than writing code?
A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.

Hi there, good to know you're doing well. Which university in SG are you teaching at? And what courses are you teaching? I might end up in SG myself next year for my education.
Cheers, Vikram. (Got my troika of CCCs!)

Very cool  Yeah, trying for an MBA. SG is one of the options I'm looking at, haven't even applied yet though.
