In my opinion, in most cases, a grid is not a very good way to present information. Most low-paid data monkeys will screw it up royally -- present them with a well-designed form to guide them along.

Good and to think and developer (ahem) worth his salt can whip up a grid control in his sleep.

I found that MS excel Sheets are very Powerful tools if used in Conjunction with Visual Basic Programs. I Used MS excel Object on VB forms to Provide: 1- Large Organized data for Input Purpose, 2- Then Another MS excel object on another Form is used to Present the Output of that program. 3- I found that it was fascinating, amazing for Large Data Input and Large output Presentation. 4- Using excel sheets with programing is really powerful, Output of some communication programs on excel sheets may be used for real time problem detection. It depends on the programmer, how is he/she going to use it.

We should immediately promote you to a Platinum member for that well thought out position on VB and OLE Automation.

Need custom software developed? I do custom programming based primarily on MS tools with an emphasis on C# development and consulting. I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. A man said to the universe: "Sir I exist!" "However," replied the universe, "The fact has not created in me

It would not do for one to encourage such things. But not a bad idea, gets rid of the problem area.
