She and your family are in my thoughts. May her surgery be nothing short of uneventful, may her recovery be swift, and may this whole affair be little more than a distant memory of no consequence before long. Peace, /ravi

I understand your message, even though others obviously don't. If only all doctors could be so omniscient and all powerful; I'm sure it would make all of them sleep better at night.

She's on my list, Tim... A doctor once told me that kids are great patients; if you put all the pieces in the same room, they'll heal. Best wishes for you all, and I look forward to good news tomorrow night!:rose:

I do understand what you're getting at, but there is such thing as TPO...
Almost, but not quite, entirely unlike... me...

Talking from experience, your heart will crack in about 1 000 000 pieces when they take her away for the narcoses, there's nothing someone can say to prepare you for this, so you'll just have to bite through it. However friends of mine had a one year old daughter who's skull had to be completely removed, reworked and put back, operation took an entire week. I saw the girl back just this weekend (now one year later) and all is just fine... doctors can do great stuff. (for the record, my son underwent a 1 hour low risk routine operation, but he was only 2 months old) PS: My wife was present in the 'wake up room', she told me that kids can (but not necessarely) react a little creepy when waking up from narcoses, just so you know. Best of luck tomorrow.

Yep - been there with the Boy when he was three. I had to hold him still while they put a mask on him - the look of fear in his eyes still haunts me - I felt he was thinking "Why are you doing this, Dad?"

Yeah - he did that, too - really took a long time for him to act 'normal' - then he said he was hungry, and we knew all was well! I can't pray for the OP - but will be thinking real hard

I am not of faith, but I will hold a place in my heart for her and for you. May she pull through safely and smile at her daddy soon.
