The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it. My latest tip/trick - Silverlight *.XCP files

No, Pi is the ratio of the circumference of a circle to it's diameter. It most certainly isn't 3.14!

to calculate the real PI, you have to rearrange the formula, that calculates the circumference of a cycle. That means: circumference = PI * 2 * radius -> PI = circumference / 2 / radius the measure between circumference and radius of the cycle is the same everytime, and the result of this measure is PI :) Hope i could explain it a bit understandable with my bad english...

They put month then day and often use '.' as the separator ... March 14th = 3.14 Although month.day is more logical and sortable than day.month, they then ruin it by putting the year at the end. I (and many others) do dates as yyyy/mm/dd(with '/' not the ambiguous '.') or (for filenames and sortable columns) as yyyymmdd which is self-consistent. UK Format:

                                      28/02/2010 + 1 = 01/03/2010 (lower as a sort sequence)

                                      US Format:

                                      02/28/2010 + 1 = 03/01/2010
                                      but 12/31/2010 + 1 = 01/01/2011 (lower as a sort sequence)

                                      My Format:

                                      2010/02/28 + 1 = 2010/03/01 (higher)
                                      2010/12/31 + 1 = 2011/01/01 (higher)

US format and UK format are ambiguous (e.g. 01/11/2010 and 11/01/2010) and are both Mondays. My format is not ambiguous (2010/01/11 and 2010/11/01 are different) unless some perverse person starts using yyyy/dd/mm which is bad news.
