Why am I not getting emails?

I was not trying to abuse him. My CP emails are going straight to the spam folder.
The narrow specialist in the broad sense of the word is a complete idiot in the narrow sense of the word. Advertise here – minimum three posts per day are guaranteed.

Why did you choose to respond like that? He has as much right as anyone else to wonder why his emails aren't coming through and your response had absolutely nothing to contribute to this thread.

This may seem obvious, but have you checked that you have the "Send me an e-mail if someone replies to this message" checkbox checked? Sometimes it's the simple things that cause problems.

Assuming you've checked the obvious, mentioned in other posts(spam filter, "e-mail me if replied to option" + inbox quota reached), you could post this in site bugs and suggestions and see if the hamsters can spot anything.

Usually I just "feel" the messages. Here's a true and freaky story for you: way back in '03 the servers were really creaking under the load. I'd spent a lot of time trying to sort things out and it had been running nicely for a few days. One night at 4AM I woke up and knew something was wrong. I went straight to my computer and it turns out that 5 minutes before, the site had completely crashed. Quick reset and back to bed. (and for the record I got the email notification for your reply :))
