It's so that boring people don't feel lonely. They can "converse" in shortened form with other boring people about the things that really matter to them during the day. "Got up" "Am at toilet." "Brushing my teeth." "Hmmm. Forgot I haven't had breakfast brush teeth again later." "Which socks shall I wear?" Even trainspotters have to feel superior to somebody.

You know it's not necessarily like that, which is why you control your 'timeline' and whom you receive tweets from. Personally, I find it a great way to keep informed on specific topics. For me, it's hockey. A lot of tv commentators, writers or bloggers post updates or links to new content so you don't have to hit 45 websites to view new content or be informed about news in a timely manner. Personally, I think it's good. Oh and follow twitter.com/thecodeproject, pretty good updates there too!

              I didn't give you 1 for that. I've compensated with a 5.

Yeah I'm going to be the most anti-social-network user ever I think ;); Right now my current 'updates' are all random posts containing words that have no relation to me whatsoever. Anyway, registered myself at 14 social networks.. And I've been busy with selecting the options that I don't want to recieve an e-mail from any of them the whole afternoon.. ...My god... How I hate social networking... (And btw; how illogical are these b*tches anyway? They're almost impossible to figure out!) :omg:
