It's been said that to be a good software developer you need to be at least a little on the Autistic / Asperger's side of things, how do you compare? http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aqtest.html[^] (I got 25)

I got 22. I suspect I'd have got a lot higher when I was a teenager. Most of the questions to do with socialising, have changed. People who are on the aspergers spectrum tend to do terribly, socially through childhood and their teens, as I certainly did, and then learn by rote how to be sociable, something the other kids seemed to just understand innately. My wife works for a speech therapist and I am constantly being told I am 'on the spectrum'. I am a little cautious, I think it's a trendy way of saying you have or had no social skills :P

19, Although I'm quite indecisive so I mostly picked slightly agree and slightly disagree. My brother on the other hand would most definitely score high, 'course he is actually autistic though I've always suspected he may just be a pain in the arse.

Half the issue with these tests is that it's pretty clear how to answer to get a particular score, and some of the questions are vague enough that people will tend to answer towards the result they want. 'Did I play pretend as a child' ? Every child does, surely.

It's flawed because it's crystal clear in most cases how to answer to get a high score, if you want one.
