I have a short informal discussion in tomorrow with a job consultancy. I don't know what I want to prepare. The job post is NET/SQL Reporting Application Developer position. This is my first call, Can anyone suggest me to preparation for this discussion?? Now I am in London. Thank you Raju.M

Well, what have you done in these areas before? Brushing up on some of the issues you encountered and how you overcame them is always a popular choice.

if it is both short and informal, I would not prepare anything. Just be yourself.

Be prepared for the job not to even exist. I was asked to come into an agency's office for a short, informal discussion and found out I was being used as a training excercise for a junior employee. He wanted to get some interviewing practice.

I may not carry a gun but I verbally ripped them a new one. I got an abject apology from the owner of the company, not that it helped, I still wasted 3 hours as I was living outside London at the time.

The best way to prepare for an interview is to put yourself in the interviewers shoes and imagine what you as the interviewer would do? That being said I would look at a few interview questions on the internet for .Net fundamentals, SQL Basics and reporting

That's what I meant when mentioning John, not that he would shoot at them. He has a wonderful style in such situations; I always find the right words to say when I am back in my car.
