What free application do you use to manage mails on other PC using your pendrive? In this period I'm travelling too often and not always I have my Pc with me. Finally with webmail I loose a lot of time and I can't see the mails on a PC without the internet connection. I need to store configuration (POP3 SMTP) and the old mails (may be only the headers) on the pendrive. No setup if it possible: I like that the application (and its files) be (and stays) on the pendrive. And finally I'm talking about PC... so I'm not interested on smartphone or PDA. Thank you

Me think you should use the different webmail client available to you, gmail, hotmail, ... or webmail client from you ISP, or direct access via VPN to your network. so only thing you need is a browser.

      Watched code never compiles.

Not good if you have to check 7 account (3 are the most important) to see 'all' the mails. And, sorry but, see the old mails without the internet it is not possible.

I have no use for an application like this but a friend has been using The Bat[^] for years, and swears by it (not at it :) ).

Can you consolidate by having one account forward to another, or by having one log into a second via pop/imap and importing that way?

Use gmail, add all your accounts to it, it will do the checking, and you can setup labels to see a consolidated view of all accounts in the inbox.
