        That is stunning! When on holiday I love lying down and looking at the stars. Can't see the stars too well where I live, too many street lights etc. :sigh:

            How would you take a photo like that? Surely you would need a long exposure, but the stars move over a period of time blurring them. So you would have to track them to keep them sharp but then the tree would be out of focus? :confused:

              Those domes are way to thick to be taken out with a mere air rifle. You need at least a .22...

              .45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly

                    I've just got a laser collimator so hoping for some clear nights to get some pictures of Jupiter. :D

                      Take a long exposure, guided photo of the sky, then let off a flash to illuminate the foreground, or alternatively take two and merge them together.
