After killing it, the blood and entrails are taken to make sausages - by the women folk - and the guys [drinking] cut the pig up. On that note, why would people eat two strips of bacon? At home I always have at least 6 or more strips of reasonably thick cut bacon. But in restaurants, if you ask for bacon and eggs you get two bacon strips. Why 2? (I am a skinny guy who eats light, I would assume normal to big sized folks would want a dozen strips at least).

And purchased chocolate covered bacon from a chocolate shop there on Main St. Interesting, and tasty but I think I prefer my bacon without chocolate.
