Minivans are the new muscle cars. It's not considered effeminate any more these days to be seen driving an Odyssey or a Sienna. :-D That said I'd rather die than be seen in public driving a minivan!

I once felt that way. I swore I would never buy a minivan. Then a few years ago I test drove an Odyssey (mostly to get my wife off my back about it). And what you know, I ended up buying it -- loaded with all of the extras of course. The theater system with extra headphones is a must for road trips with kids. But I absolutely refuse to call it a minivan. Around my house it is referred to as the Luxury High Occupancy Vehicle, or LHOV if you prefer. :)

We could go on like this forever. I had already updated my message to reflect your updated link.

Is your server so slow or is that the CP-effect?

I was watching football yesterday, and on comes a commercial for a Honda minivan, and the music was The Hellion by Judas Priest! Sheesh, whoever would have thought Judas Priest would be used to hawk minivans!

I took my kids to the circus a couple of weeks ago, and there was a motorbike act that used The Hellion/Electric Eye as a soundtrack. Maybe the world is waking up to how awesome it is.

Words fade as the meanings change, but somehow, it don't bother me.

Works fine here (it's a pretty big picture though). Not slow in the slightest.

Umm...no, that's what the marketing is desperately attempting to convince people.

You are right, it isn't girly to be seen driving a minivan. That said, as a car guy, and a metal fan, Judas Priest would be more suited to the true musclecars that are around now... The new Camaro, the Challenger, or the Mustang.... not a minivan!!! I drive a Dodge Ram truck with the Hemi and have a 2002 Camaro Z28 convertible collector car. Both of them will pass anything except the gas station... They would DEFINITELY be more suited to Judas Priest! I think I have my wife talked into trading her car in on the new Camaro, so we might have 2 Camaros then....

See when I hear Camaro I don't think of Judas Priest I think of Culture Club, to me the Camaro has always been the most effeminate of the "muscle" cars. ;)

Chris certainly needs to market his smileys better. Everyone's ignoring my joke-icon. :-D

Another sellout, there goes the last vestiges of coolness for Judas Priest. I guess when you're old and crapping in your diaper you take whatever money you can get your hands on. :)

Hmmm, trying to decide whether you're being sarcastic or not... While there are a few aspects of a Defender's design that could be rectified on the whole it does the job it was initially created for very well. Afterall, the basic design hasn't changed from 1948 so something must have been done right...
