Depending on the time of the day the power goes off you can adjust your lunch time or other activity time to that 20min.

I'm surprised that, given where you live, you don't have a generator. Something that would keep you productive for 8 hours or so wouldn't cost more than $500 here. Cheers, Drew.

Sounds like you need some good UPSes. A cheap 550VA model gives me about 2 hours of modem + wifi. With your modem being wireless I assume you'll get less runtime than that but bigger ones aren't *that* expensive.

I'm curious... Is this a daily event, or is it just for the day, a repair perhaps? It's hard to imagine a (relatively) civilized country with power only part time. That said, there are parts of this country where they have no power at all, but that's in extremely remote places.
