Yeah, most likely. VB or C#. Power users would go for VB I'm quite sure.

First off, I've just uninstalled it. Why? Well as soon as I installed it, it was flaky, crashed frequently, worse VS2008 and VS2010 exhibited the same symptoms whilst prior to this they had both been rock solid. Admittedly the system I installed it on is old and creaky, it creaks running MineSweeper, but it didn't used to crash. Too soon to decide if uninstalling has cured my VS problems. What's my overall impression? Good points: UI can be modified whilst running in debug mode. (see bad points, though) The default UI is a reasonable design Appearance and functionally. (It is Tabs based.) It really does simplify and speed up the creation of simple data dependent apps. Bad Points: Unstable (on my system at least) Current options for UI mods too restrictive, mostly just two options. e.g. DataGrid or ListBox. The main UI and any data-entry type forms appear to be generated dynamically, nothing wrong with this but it means that hacking the layout/design is soooo much more difficult than it needs to be. Overall: Would I recommend it? Not in this iteration of the Beta, no. Will I look at it again? Yes, I think I might. The idea has possibilities.

i have been running it for a little over a month... with little to no problems. you do have to have SQL2008 express installed as your Default Named Instance(the "SQLEXPRESS" instance), and there is an update to the windows 4 API (if you are running XP) that is a good install. my machine is a very old Dell Dimension 4600 and it performs beautifully, although if slow, on it. i have noticed that is has a good chance to stay broken, if you have an error. mostly just annoying, you can save and re-open the project and that will fix it(at worst case). also, can you change the settings and config files for the actual project template, which gives you all the rope you need to hang your self(think of editing the MSBuild files with a sledgehammer). not a good situation. i am waiting for the extensibility points to opened up to all of us though. in it current state it is really nothing more than a toy for the layman. all and all it has been a pretty good experience, far better than the VS2008 beta was in the past.

I'm looking forward to looking at what the next iteration provides too.
