What did you use for MCSD Analyzing Requirements exam (70-100)?

I am about to take the 70-100 exam (Analyzing Requirements), but all the books on this topic have gotten very bad reviews. Can someone who's taken the exam suggest what written material I should read? I appreciate it :) Chaim Nussbaum, MCP QA Programmer Marconi Commerce Systems

I just worked through the MS Course Material (Luckily I got hold of a teachers pack with some extended material). Together with some "common sense and good guessing" it was enough. Be prepared, though, the exam might contain quite technical questions (had some moreweird DB stuff I I recall correctly)

What ever you use if it talks about the Microsoft Solution Framework - if you look at the parts that MS put on the test from their own site, the MSF is not on the test. I am not saying that what they present as the MSF is bad. Many people could benefit from using it, but its not being tested. Of course this should not be news to someone who is looking at the test. For my test I used the Syngress Press (big red and blue) book as well a the cram session one. I would not ever take a test with just one sourse of information. Always have at least 2 in my mind. Good Luck. Steve Maier, MCSD

Check out the Transcender practice exams. They are about the closest thing to the real exam you will run into. The problem is that the books teach some very worthwhile material to know. But the exam doesn't test those things. The Transcender exam will show you what to expect. Phil Boyd MCP "I took the road less traveled..."

Of course, a copy of the marking criteria would help too :-D. David Wulff dwulff@battleaxesoftware.com

I felt fairly confident about the material for exam 70-100, so I just used the Exam Cram book for review and the Transcender test. If you can't get the Transcender test, at least download the sample test (its free) from MS. The formatting of the questions on 70-100 is different from any other test on the MCSD track. Good luck.
