Here you will be judged on your presentation and perceived intelligence (we'll not go into humuor and spelling). So when you use txt speak in a thread you can expect to be flamed. When you then compound you stupidity by whining about your boss you will be further ignored or abused. There have been a number of serious threads discussing difficult employment positions and they have gleaned some good advice however your will not. I vote for the project manager, I hope he reads CP, recognises your abominable communication skills and sacks you on the spot.

Hey, you are still getting paid arent you? None of its important, just work professionally, dont make waves, dont think you know it all (all the mistakes I have made). Try to help the PM get the project on track, go talk to him/her about any doubts you have and above all be calm, be detached, and once again, BE PROFESSIONAL! :)

Yes, we can say that because we are in our 40s and have made al the mistakes (well I have anyway) but you could have voiced it a little more constructively! :)

You're in your 40's??? :-) I thought that 'grow up' said it all: can't really see how to dress that up for someone that thinks txtspk is used by anyone over 10 years old.

You do what he says. He has enough problems, dealing with management and customer demands, and doesn't need petty little people giving him more problems. If you approach your work the way you approach communicating on a board of educated, technical people, I imagine you've got a long way to go in learning team play.
