If I were accused of such a thing, I would rather face complete ruin than pay off my accuser, and I would fight the charges to the death. It's a safe bet that any other person innocent of such charges would do the same.

I have always admitted the bad things the Empire did. Subjugation of indigenous races, imposition of military overlordship, the destruction of Alderaan.
