Juan IS Alive!

Have Maunder check the logs! He JUST posted!
I know. I saw it too. It was an advert though, perhaps that's why it's no longer here.
Henry Minute Do not read medical books! You could die of a misprint. - Mark Twain Girl: (staring) "Why do you need an icy cucumber?" “I want to report a fraud. The government is lying to us all.”
-
Yeah, I checked his newest messages in an attempt to find the rogue message. It may have been deleted, as it was an advertising post for some Silverlight thing he made. The same thing happened to me the other day when I participated in some thread that had the potential to turn into a flame war. The entire thread magically disappeared. I think it was the Maunder sword.

Yay, Juan Pablo is alive! I posted in the Lounge a year ago almost to the day that I had a theory that he had died, but he just posted a message in the Lounge. I'm glad to hear he's alive! Edit: Dang, his post was moved or something. Honest, he JUST posted in the Lounge. You believe me, right? Right?

OK? I thought the point was that he was "alive"...??? Apparently if you don't post in the Lounge you're not alive?
That was my point. I thought you were trying to make the point that his most recent message was not in the Lounge, and so I imagined it all. But, yeah, Juan is alive, so all is well. :)

Yay, I'm not crazy; or, if I am, there are others just as crazy as I am! ;)

Yes I am alive, and yes there is an efficient sword right there, I thinks it was a humble add, but well ok it is vanished now. I suppose I can say 'take a look to my profile and my webs and my blog right now' it is not an add, isn't it? Regards, JP

Juan! It's a pleasure to finally meet you. I'd say, avoid advertising in general. If you are proud of something you've done and it is useful to developers somehow, you can add an article to the Product Showcase section. But Code Project is no place for advertising. If that is your intention when you post, don't make the post at all. Some people seem like they get away with it, but it's usually them telling us about something they've accomplished, after they've become a solid part of the Code Project community (you have posted less than a hundred messages, so that may not be true for you just yet). So when somebody says "hey, I just published my first book!" or "after a year in the making, I've finally released a new version of ScrewTurn Wiki!", it is more about sharing excitement than advertising their product.
