For those that remember 'Frogger' I have a question. Ok you have to get the frog from one side of the road to the other, then across the river to the lily pads. I can understand a frog dying if it gets run over, but why would it die when it fell into the water? Basic logic fail there. Don't ask!

Is there some small BP rig in the water nearby?

Ever see the Superman where Lois falls into Niagra Falls and Clark has to come up with some clever way to save her without revealing his identity? That illustrates an important point... that Superman didn't exist in Frogger. :)

I always assumed there were piranhas or herons in the water.

Because then you could be eaten by the turtles or the alligators that are in the water.

Yes, about this and also about why the space invaders don't simply charge right down and overrun me.

A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.

I'm not sure, but I think it's for the same reason five guys attacking Jackie Chan only attacks one at a time, with the other 4 just jumping around...

The same reason Bond villains don't just shoot him on sight. Real life is often not very entertaining, if you are trying to make entertainment then it is easier to deviate a little.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

And there are those guys that can't even be shot. I remenber some movie with Arnold standing there and shooting it out with a small army. The bad guys at least tried to stay in cover, but Arnold got them all while none of them even got close to hitting Arnold :)

The pinnacle of that was probably the A Team where every car or even helicopter crash was survivable, no-one ever bled or bruised despite all the fighting, and the thousands of rounds fired didn't hit a single person.

Right, guys with assault rifles, merrily shooting with never empty clips, and nobody gets hurt.

The water is toxic, kills a frog instantly - that's why the alligators don't dive and only some of the turtles do, but only for a couple of seconds a shot :~ -- RP
