Thought I had it all sorted out... I had some problems running ASP.NET on IIS 5.1, in that when I tried to access an aspx page on my localhost it came up with "Server Not Found". The recommended solution was to run aspnet_regiis -i from the command line and then register aspnet_isapi.dll. This resulted in IIS recognising the aspx files, but it would not run asp.net code properly. I then tried to re-install VS.NET and now have the "Server Not Found" problem all over again, even though I have re-registered the dlls. Driving me crazy, can anyone help?

Hi! IIS doesn't upgrade to well! So if you upgraded from win2k I'd recommend to uninstall IIS and do a reinstall. I had this problem once. Cheers Martin "Situation normal - all fu***d up" Illuminatus!

No it doesn't, does it. Well I re-installed XP, IIS, VS.NET, works OK now. I will take the lesson never to upgrade Windows again...
