There are different problems here: 1. The age of course of both parents is a problem as they won't be able to raise the newcome. 2. Their parents have not controlled enough the childs behavior (and I don't mean the sexual intercourse) I mean the education to avoid that. 3. They have come to Spain as this country makes this kind of gestures allowing all the people from other countries to stay if they have a child in Spain. 4. The fact that those children have not paid a pence to the Spanish government and that have got the benefit of the spanish medical services to have the child for free. 5. The fact that it helps the racism to grow up when people from other ethnies make those things. 6. The children nowadays are growing too fast... they are loosing the innocence age and this is sad. But of course those are simply my thoughts... In general terms: X|

It was most probably your blatant generalised opinion about a whole group of people that stirred up that reaction. It might even have been interpreted as being racistic[^]. I'm pretty sure you can find gypsies that doesn't fit your description, even if I'm not going to discuss any numbers. Had you made a similar comment about Jews, who died by the millions instead by the hundred thousands in the holocaust, you would probably not have slipped of the hook as easy.

Yes, because the Jews do not ghettoise whole communities or bulldoze down homes belonging to 'Others' or forcibly evict and treat badly people of different faiths do they.

Fixed that for you. I'm quite sure that it's not valid for all Jews.

On a point of order (and not disagreeing with your general point!) The Gypsies were the second largest demographic killed in the holocaust about half a million.

Sort of a cross between Lawrence of Arabia and Dilbert.[^]

Look at how they have (and still are) treated in Europe and elsewhere - they are turned into animals. Standford experiment anyone? More Gypsies were slaughtered where they stood (didn't even get sent to camps) than all other groups together in WWI yet that was ignored.

Most of them ARE animals and you don’t have even a slightest idea what you’re talking about.

I’m familiar with the Stanford experiment/for me it kind of explain the nazi/ and I know gypsies too. Thats why I said that you don’t know the subject. They are not a bad people but they are not people like us. And I don’t mean some cultural differences – it’s far more than that. If I quote Einstein: “I can’t explain you how to make a cake if you don’t know what the sugar is.” or something among this line. If it was any other race or cultural group I would have totally agreed with you, but not in this case.

Those one or two deserves being treated for who they are, not for what the others are or do. Just my opinion by principle. And by the way, I do recognize that it might be a problem to know the good from the bad. When I was young I worked in an electronics shop that got raided every half a year, so I know where the prejudices are coming from.

And they are! In my country we even don’t call this people “gypsies” despite their origin or skin color because they considered it as insult. But as I said they are a miserable percent from the whole.

Only one and he kind of doesn't count, he has left their society and doesn't have much contact with them.

Let me guess, he even doesn’t like to be called gipsy? Do you now way? Because gipsy is a way of thinking/or lack of any/, way of life and value system/usually zero to nothing here/ rather than some specific race. Nobody wants to be associates with a “people” who throw their babies in front of the passing car in order to extort the driver later. Also the people usually are looking after their kids, even the animals do, but the most of the gypsies make a bunch of kids and throw them away – some to the state to take care of, some are selling their kids for adoption or for organs/kidneys/, some kids die because their parents don’t care enough. Anyway, their logic is that if you have 7-15 kids some will survive – especially in Europe and it works. In my country they rise from about 50K one hundred years ago to almost one billion today. 90% don’t work or have never worked in their entire life. This is a huge burden for a small, not so rich country.
