:omg: Congratulations on your new laptop.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it. My latest tip/trick Visit the Hindi forum here.

What..no Alienware? In all seriousness, there is nothing as life affirming as a new hardware purchase. I don't have a need for a new computer so I talked myself into a new Kinesis spilt keyboard. I keep hoping I'll find a reason to update my laptop in the next 6 months or so - you know it's time for a replacement when the new smell goes away.

Well, I don't want to project the wrong image when I visit my customers. Plus the HP packs enough power for me. I hope this one will last longer than 6 months (usally I buy a new one just about every year).

Depends on the muzzle velocity and effective range.

.45 ACP - because shooting twice is just silly

Does it have triple channel memory? I know desktops have had that for a while now; so you'll see 3, 6, 12, etc.

The Google query (( laptop cooking reuters )) finds an article with cautionary numbers - something like a delta-T of 1 degree Celsius, which is typically reached in less than 30 minutes, and yer in trouble. Spreading-the-legs is the workaround - "pads" turn out not to help. The Reuters story is dated 5 November, just a day after your post, Synchronicity ?
