One of my fellow progammers brought in Pão de Quejo (a recipe from her native Brazil.) She has done this occasionally in the past, too. Very good stuff. :-D Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Yeah, a colleague had to modify my code and he commented on how nice and easy to understand it was. That really made my day. Another colleague told me I was the only cool girl on the project, and that it'd suck if I didn't come back after I have my baby. Although I should have been "offended", I was flattered.

LOL - see ? You know it's a cynical ploy, and it's still gonna work. I must buy my wife some flowers.... Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002

Providing she doesn't have a suspicious mind like Peterchen above, it will totally make her (your) day! :-D Don't ask me why we like flowers so much - possibly because it's one of the few things men can buy us which we are quite sure had nothing attached. I mean, if he buys me chocolates, and I'll insist that he eats at least 50% of them. But flowers - purely something for me to enjoy, and the monthly budget doesn't get adversly affected by them either. :rose:

Sure was! Actually, we started going out when we were 16 and at school together. Now we are 27 and married. It's nice to spoil each other sometimes. :)
