Don't think so - we've chatted a bit about latin quotes, but I can't remember having seen this link before. On a side note: I used to work for Disney in Paris. The first 3 days we were "brain washed" the Disney way at what they call "The Disney University". The very first thing we were taught at the university was the names of the Seven Dwarfs in every language conceivable (English, French, German etc). Because "Even if you don't learn anything else, if you're going to work for Disney, the very least effort you can do is to learn the names of his dwarves..." ;) So I was very happy to see the Seven Dwarfs in Latin here. Sort of brings back memories. :)

His dwarves? He may have paid a group of people to choose new names for them, but I am not sure they are his dwarves.

Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

No, they're not, they could probably be contributed to the Grimm Brothers. But be honest now: If Disney (Walt & Co) hadn't made it into a cartoon, do you think they would have been so well known as they are? And seeing that Snowwhite was the worlds FIRST full feature length animated movie, I can understand why they have a special meaning to Disney (Present corporation). In the end, it all comes down to corporate image and copyrights, and Disney is certainly very keen on preserving theirs. But they're not the only ones. There are plenty of other corporations that are just as hysterical when it comes to that, so I don't get my shorts in a bunch about that...
