AdBlock Plus. (In my case, for Mozilla Forefox.) I just can't stand those annoying adds like shoot 5 smartphones or kill the pirates. And flash ads slow down my computer, so blocking them seems the best choice. F**k Travian, by the way. (The most annoying ads lead to them.)

For Firefox: IE Tab 2[^] This helps me on never needing to launch Internet Explorer. If there is a web page that works only or better on Internet Explorer, all I have to do is switch the render on a small icon on bottom right of firefox window and voi'la. Really useful, you can have tabs inside firefox that use the firefox engine or internet engine. There is also a chrome renderer.

View Source Chart in Firefox. Great for finding those badly structured rendering problems.

Flashblock for Firefox is very good. It lets you open lots of tabs without slowing the browser to a crawl.

+1 for AdBlock Plus and Firebug. Nobody's mentioned NoScript[^]? Greasemonkey's quite useful for "fixing" other people's web pages, particularly sites which insist on wrapping every link with an ad-frame.

I got this..!!!!! I used Opera for a while the most under rated browser in the market... If it was more compatible I would use it only. The I started using Firefox because all the things I loved about opera could be added as extensions. I will not use a browser that does not have them...For example I wanted to use chrome but couldn't because of the missing addons. So I use.... Firefox with adblockplus, Speeddial, SecureLogin and SQLLite manager... I can go to all my normal websites and check my emails with about 15 keys pressed on my keyboard and never touching my mouse.
