This product seems to me to suck arse in a big way. But as I'm hesitant to run the crap, I'll hold final judgement until someone here who has used it explains the goodness to me, if any goodness exists. So now for the story behind the Fox Digital Copy Sucks Arse Big Time - I bought a Samsung 50" 3D Plasma TV a few weeks ago. It came with a 3D Blu-Ray player (which of course, had to be by Yankee style redemption, so they have more chances to weasling out of giving it to you) which I am still waiting for. My 13 year old son bought himself a copy of Predators, I told him to get the Blu-Ray / DVD / Digital Copy version, so we could watch it on the DVD while waiting for the Blu-Ray to get here. The only versions available was Blu-Ray / Digital Copy or DVD / Digital Copy. We got the former and now I am looking to get the digital copy off the DVD and play it on the TV from my work laptop. I have a few problems I forsee here - 1. It will only run on the computer I run the program on 2. It will install some fucking DRM shit on my computer 3. I know it will only play in WMP, what a piece of shit, I want to use VLC 4. Once I have it install I won't be able to move it to another computer (I don't want it on my work laptop, just temporary to watch it tonight) 5. I also get a version for iPod etc. bet I can only put it on once. Cause there's no chance I may want/need to delete it to put other movies on for my son to watch and then put Predators back again for him to watch. Do these wankers think! If I wanted to get a pirated copy I could. I don't want too, I want to pay, but by fuck do they do everything in their power to make it a more desirable path. Another thought, what if my computer dies and I have to get a new one, do I have to ring Fox up, give Rupert a thorough Arse Tonguing so I can once again get to use the Digital Copy I fucking paid for? I think I need to make a trip down to Fox Studios Sydney and punch some fuckers teeth out. <EDIT> Jesus that X and C look so much alike. </EDIT>

Pirate it. You already paid for it, so it's only fair.

See if you can use IsoBuster[^] to get the digital copy off the disk, unless it's encrypted in which case it probably will not help.

People are more violently opposed to fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than motorcycle gangs

Thanks for the idea, I actually own a licensed copy of IsoBuster, but I don't think it will help. The files are a WMP file, it can be copied straight from the DVD but when you play it, it is random coloured blocks. It will need the DRM crap to play, I think.

You need to unDRM the files, take a look at automate unDRM i've never used it but it states it can do the job.

Yeah, but that would probably only a negligible improvement.
