http://people.aol.com/people/special/0,11859,392026-1,00.html That's it, I found a pattern. An ugly and stupid guy gets popular as soon as he openly starts dating a beautiful woman. Do you also recognize this? Think about that little brat (Britney's ex) and this Ben guy. Is the society changing? Will we start measuring men by the women they have on their side and not the opposite? Is the next century going to be "the female century"? Regards, Tomaz

I just want to say this. I frequently find myself at odds with the missus as she can tell much sooner than me when a woman is attracted. The problem stems from the fact that I'm happy with what I have and where I'm at (IMO). I think women, and likely men too, find that overall sense of confidence to be on the erotic side. When I get thinking about it, well, it makes sense. If you were on a date, and she (or he) seemed overly eager how would feel. On the other hand, if that person just seems to go along and be okay with everything, you, them, the world at large, doesn't that provide a means of comfort?. If I'm way off don't be surprised... I've [edit] NOT [/edit] done much dating over the years.. but I do know that women warm up to me and I just attribute it to my not having an covert designs (aka. just at ease with them). --------------------------------------------- The greenest grass is NOT on the other side of the fence, its the grass you take care of. Have you watered your lawn lately? - Just remember when you point a finger at someone else, you are only one finger away from making a fist to hit them with! If they don't get the basic research and learning skills down then they'll end up having a very hard life (Either that or they'll become managers) - Micheal P Butler <

Will we start measuring men by the women they have on their side I hate to tell you this, but it's always been like this. Look at the recent articles about the new James Bond movie. Consider the politics of who you (as a male) have hanging on your arm going to a big social event. I think it's measured much more than what guy a woman has with her. After all, she can just dump the guy for the next one. A man can't do that without paying a price. Is the next century going to be "the female century"? Which will then be synonymous with "the broke male century". Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

Did you watch Red Dwarf ? 'My friend Ace here has had loads of girlfriends....' Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002
