As of I read in newspaper yesterday there were one column about the different superstitiousness of people on the no 13 worldwide.* You will never find 13 no. room in hotel in England they are skipping 13 no. room with 12-A.
- People fears when Friday comes with the date 13 and they prefer to be laid in bed and not going outside of home.
there were several examples on 13 but the one That caught my eyes was, Saddam Hussein's DOB addition was no 13 and he caught on 13th December. or Tell me if in your country you are also having different views on 13.

Yes, I was thinking of so. But I think before there were more superstitious feeling on 13 then now. So at the time of giving notation they also stopped at 13. :-D

We have them. When employed, you typically get paid 13 months. Analog clocks only show 12 distinct hours to make it more easy to read them, however each day has 24 hours. We avoid 12 hour AM/PM schemes where one gets easily confused by 00:00 AM, 00:00 PM, 12:00 AM, 12:00 PM :)

Actually not. As may be determined from the etymology of the word month's originally coincided with a lunar cycle, of which there are 12.41 rather than 12 in a year - hence periodically a 13th month needed to be added. Yes, by idiots, but you stated the newspaper article as say there were NO rooms numbered 13. This is quite plainly WRONG. So, given that we accept that newspapers are full of horsecrap, why bother bringing up irrational beliefs in non-provable occurences and co-incidental events. John Lennon Killed on 7th December! Many companies in NL pay a "13th month" salary -- an extra month's pay at the end of the year. Basically, it means that you get paid 1/12th less each month to make up for it, but I'd hardly consider it unlucky. It seems to make people happy, not scared.
